Happy 69th Birthday DAD!

"It Truly has been a trip!"
"those were the days my friend!"
we thought they'd never end----or from Barbra Strieisand--
"The Way We Were! "

Still gle-----and would give half of my life to be back on 'those Bulls'-------as was 'the greatest adrenalin rush' you could 'never imagine' and really let you knew how very precious life really was or is that close to 'death' or extremely serous injuries. I did experience 'very serious' injuries from 'other events' in life, but 'never, never, no never' the adrenalin rush like climbing down on the back of a one ton massive quivering flesh and bone of extreme destruction, knowing the quivering was not from any freight on his part,  but his great anticipation of mauling to death this 'insane' thing about to let him try ! !

TALL IN THE SADDLE AND SHARP AS A KNIFE,
THIS IS THE STORY OF GERALD LEE’S LIFE.
WITH HUNTING AND FISHING HIS LIFE HAS BEEN FULL,
RIDING ON MOTOR BIKES, THE BRONCS AND THE BULLS.
PLAYING HIS SAXAPHONE, HAVING A BLAST,
LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST - A COLOURFUL PAST.
FLYING HIS AIRPLANE ALL OVER THE WORLD,
DRIVING MACHINES IN THE ARTIC’S DEEP COLD.
NOW THAT HE’S LIVED TO A RIPE OLD AGE,
WE CAN SEE IT ALL – THE WORLD WAS HIS STAGE.
WITH THE WIND AT HIS BACK, HE’S COME MANY A MILE,
STILL WEARING THAT WONDERFUL, CROOKED OLD SMILE.
