A Christmas Letter that left us in tears

Just a Christmas Hello to everyone of my children:

I love each one of you so much you have each taught me so much in my life, I have truly been blest with the best and brightest, except maybe for your children which you have been blest with, or children around you.

I have really been touched this year thinking about our Savior and his birth and his knowledge of each of us and his love and concern for each of us, I know many times in my life I would never make it without that knowledge and faith. I know this to be true and I know this is true thru the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the church which teaches these things. We are so blest to have the Prophet and leaders to lead and guide us as they are directed by our Savior. I learned a long time ago that if I put my trust in my Savior; and do all I can do He will and does take care of the rest and that brings such peace to my life, no matter what is going on.

I pray that this year you will all make it a priority to strengthen yourselves and your families and do all you can do to live up to this scripture: “If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.” Being prepared means so many things, in so many areas of life, But most of all I think being spiritually strong is of utmost importance. I pray that you each will take stock of where you are and where you want to be a year from now and then go forward with a plan, strength, and faith.

I always enjoyed when we would sit around and I would ask you each questions like: what do you want to be when you grow up? If you could do anything in your life what would it be? If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? If you could live in any period of time what would it be? etc. and then put these in an envelope and put them away until the end of the year and then let each of you see them and see if your next answers would change, those of you that have children old enough.....this is always enlightening for your children.

I hope you all have a Great Christmas, Love your families and give all that I can’t see hugs and Kisses from me
Mom

White Christmas At The Rosemary Eastman Ranch

Wow, The Ranch on Christmas Eve Morning sent by Tamie-----Verl must have enjoyed the view as he just got in from Rainy San Diego. Did you all see the hotels on Hotel Row street locked with water and mud. Even The big Football Stadium had 2 feet of water two days ago and no one knows how they pumped out all the water and dried the field somewhat for the Poinestta Bowl played last night. Not even any mud holes on the grass field to the end of the game.

Some places in southern Cal got over 2 feet (that's 2 feet of rain) in 3 days and was more than they normally get in two years. WOW ! ! ! And Mamouth Mountain got over 17 fee of snow (a record) do you know how high 17 feet of snow is Tamie???-----that would be up to your bedroom windows. You would have to 'tunnel to get out of the house' so even though you have a little nice snow and beautiful frost in this picture----count yourselves all lucky. Worst blizzard yet to hit the midwest today and Deirdre is 'right in the middle of it' and whole east coast to have a 'white Christmas to morrow so all in all I think everyone is happy for the snow. We had 4 inches here last Sunday as Jennifer was wishing for a 'white Christmas' but then warmed up over 50 and all gone now but supposed to come in again Tomorrow so will be fun.

We are all hunckered down here having Sharry's special oyster and potatoe soup, ham sandwiches and games tonight and Sara flys in at midnight with Santa Claus from LA so looks like fun.

Have a wonderful Christmas to you all ! ! !

Trip To Arizona

We picked up my lovely mother on Friday. It was SOOOOO good to see her; I just love my mom! I love spending time with her, we have such a close-knit bond; I enjoy every time I get to be in her company. I can't wait to start working on some projects together, go out to eat, show her around AZ, etc.! I LOVE having fun things to do to keep me busy.

We took her to one of our favorite sandwich places called Which, Which. YUMMY hot sandwiches with all the condiments and veges you could possibly want on it! Then we walked around Westgate and showed her our apartment before taking her to Dave and Kimbers. The kids were SOOOO happy to see "grandma!" Tyler even made the comment "when are Mike and Amanda leaving?" so she could have grandma all to herself; it was so cute.

This is how mom lives it up when dad's not around: loadin up on Margaritas! :)

Today, Saturday, is my baking/cooking day. I just LOVE cooking! I'm making two different breads (sandwich bread and french bread), spiced pumpkin bread with cream cheese frosting, carmel apples (chocolate with peanut butter, chocolate with nuts, and white chocolate with cinnamon sugar), a bacon and leek dip, an olive with parmesean cheese spread, sausage and a cheese ball with crackers, and chili—all for tonights gathering/dinner at our place. Then we are all going to Goodyear Ballpark to play in 40 tons of snow, ice skate, and walk around the arts and crafts booths. So many fun things to do in AZ, I love it!
